"Jangan ketawa ya, lihat motor gue. Konsepnya memang ada permintaan dari istri," kata Roy Gunawan saat kami bertemu. Roy memang mempersembahkan motor ini untuk istrinya berkreasi dalam menentukan tampilan. Khususnya warna dan motif airbrush.

Alhasil meskipun sangat minim u­bahan yang dilakukan di sektor bodi, akibat pemilihan grafis seperti ini membuat motor sudah terlihat jadi jauh berbeda.



Ini bisa menjadi trik yang layak untuk diikuti. Tentu saja sebaiknya memilih motif yang memang disukai. Nekat dalam u­rusan pemilihan warna juga boleh dicoba. Tentu saja butuh mental untuk itu.
Siap diledekin atau malah bisa menjadi suatu kebanggaan. "Tapi, pastinya sudah terlihat tidak standar lagi. Itu yang paling penting," mantap Roy.

Fokus Performa
Jika diperhatikan tampilan luar, Ninja 250R punya Roy ini tidak banyak ubahan. Selain warna hanya ada pemasangan beberapa part bodi part yang sifatnya bolt-on. Misal jok tunggal.Hal itu karena ayah 1 anak ini memang lebih fokus untuk up-grade performa. "Bukannya saya ingin balapan tapi memang motor ini enak dibawa ngebut. Jadinya ingin ngebut terus."

Step awal dimulai Roy dengan ganti knalpot Leo Vince SBK Carbon full system. Yang dimaksud dengan full system adalah knalpot yang satu paket mulai dari header atau leher sampai muffler.Konon menurutnya penggantian ini bisa meningkatkan tenaga hampir 5 hp. "Apalagi ditambah penggunaan open filter dari K&N, cukuplah buat motor ini bertambah ngacir," tegasnya.

Honda Scoopy 2011, Seperti Matik Pakai Batik

Johanes Hanafi, bos X-16 Motobike terkenal jago mengcustom skubek yang matik itu bergaya fashion, low rider hingga extreme. Karya-karyanya punya nilai di atas rata-rata. Wajar jika urutan tiga besar di ajang contezt modifikasi kerap disandang builder bongsor berkacamata itu.

Termasuk di event Oto Trendz Skubek Contezt 2011 lalu yang digelar di Senayan. Honda Scoppy miliknya dinobatkan sebagai runner-up kelas airbrush grafis. Ini konsep airbrush yang berbeda dari biasa.


“Pengin beda, tapi coba Honda Scoopy. Kan media untuk menerapkan ide airbush cukup lapang, dan enggak banyak lekukan di tebeng depan sampai buritan enak dibikin grafis. Tapi, bukan grafis biasa, lho,” kenang Johanes yang buka toko di Jl. KH. Moch. Mansyur No. 11, Blok. A4, Roxi, Jakarta Barat.

Dimaksud bukan grafis biasa, pria tambun ini bilang konsepnya lebih luas dari aibrushh grafis triball yang umum diterapkan modifikator lain. Maksudnya kalau triball motor lain lebih banyak garis lurus, di Scoopy triballnya lebih etnik.


“Unsur triball etnik memang tidak dominan. Hanya ada di bagian tertentu agar yang menikmatinya lebih fokus. Misal di tebeng dan bodi samping sehingga tampilan komposisi desain mirip motor pakai baju batik,” imbuh Johanes yang mengaku desain etnik itu dicontek dari gambar khas China.

Adapun yang membedakan triball etnic dengan triball lainnya, konon corak grafisnya tidak dominan lurus. Namun ada unsur bulat juga kotak yang digambarkan dalam satu ruang tertentu. “Makanya sedikit rumit untuk menentukan corak triball dasar dan temanya” jelas brother yang dekat dengan Tomy Airbrush itu.

Karena usung tema daily use, tempat duduk Scoopy dan komponen penunjang lainnya juga dicustom. Bisa dilihat dari bentuk jok model bersusun mirip Honda PCX yang katanya khas skubek Jepang.



Bukan hanya itu, lampu utama juga ikuta dipercantik pakai dua lampu tambahan. Kali ini pakai produk variasi asal Thailand yang memang sudah dijual komplet berikut dudukannya. Bahkan pada bagian batok setang, juga tidak ketinggalan dipasang windshield yang jadi khas skubek pabrikan Honda.
Eh.., berapa nih nilainya?

Ring Roda Khas Eropa
Tampilan sudah diseting berbeda. Lalu? Untuk mengubah kaki-kaki dengan produk variasi, dirasakan Johanes kayaknya masih kurang sip jika dipandang. Apalagi kalau melihat desain secara keseluruhan Scoopy yang memang agak klasik. Maka dipilih ubahan skubek bergaya Eropa yang dominan berdiameter roda kecil.

“Daripada ganti sokbreker variasi, mending pakai ban ukuran ring 12 yang rata-rata dipakai skubek Eropa. Kayaknya pas dengan tema modifikasi kali ini. Makanya saya pakai pelek monoblock ring 12 inci dengan merek Daiici yang banyak dijual di toko variasi,” lanjut Johanes.

Apalagi untuk pasang pelek ini di skubek Scoopy yang pakai ban lebar dengan pelek 2,5 inci, kata Johanes tidak begitu sulit lantaran bisa tinggal plek. Apalagi cuma pasang di Vario atau BeAT yang punya ruang lebar hingga tidak masalah.

Seperti diungkapkan modifikator Topo Goedel Atmodjo, untuk tahun 2011 dirinya memprediksikan motor-motor akan lebih bergaya minimalis serta memiliki kapasitas mesin yang lebih besar dan cenderung tidak mau menghilangkan bentuk asli dari motor tersebut.



"Arah ini juga dilihat dari pemerintah yang sudah membolehkan motor berkapasitas mesin besar  hadir di Indonesia. Selain itu, ini juga dikarenakan pengguna kendaraan beroda dua sudah mulai merasakan kejenuhan untuk memodifikasikan kendaraannya," ujarnya.

Sehingga para produsen merespons baik untuk memproduksi yang lebih mengarah ke safety, fungsional, dan tentu lebih bervariasi tetapi tidak ingin menghilangkan jiwa sportnya.

Modifikasi pada motor Batangan atau motor sport masih akan didominasi oleh penggunaan fairing seperti motor Sport GP atau Super Bike.


"Kalau untuk motor batangan atau yang bertipe Sport, masih akan didominasi pada penggunaan fairing layaknya motor GP atau Super Bike. Serta ada penambahan pada kaki-kaki seperti penambahan pada pelek dan suspensi seperti yang tadinya menggunakan mono schock menjadi double shock," ujarnya.

Motor yang bertipe adventure atau bergaya trail akan lebih banyak digemari lagi. Karena untuk motor yang bergaya seperti ini tidak akan ada matinya dan selalu abadi. "Ini juga dilihat dari anime masyarakat yang masih menikmati motor-motor yang bergaya motor trail," ujarnya.

Sedangkan untuk motor bebek, Topo memprediksi gayanya akan lebih mengarah ke Racing Look. Karena mereka tidak akan lepas dengan motor yang bergaya motor balap atau racing, dan akan lebih mengarah ke bentuk futuristik.

"Selain itu kemungkinan juga untuk pasar bebek, akan lebih banyak digemari lagi," ujarnya.

Sementara untuk pasar motor transmisi otomatis, menurutnya akan mengalami pergeseran dengan sedikit sekali perubahan pada motor transmisi otomatis.

"Ini dikarenakan motor matik sudah banyak bentuk dan varian. Sehingga motor matik tidak mau menghilangkan ciri khas dari motor matik itu sendiri. Ini dilihat dari perubahan tiap tahunnya yang tidak banyak mengalami perubahan. Selain itu menurut saya masyarakat akan mengalami kebosanan pada motor matik," ujarnya.

Cuma harus menyesuaikan beberapa komponen agar klop dengan rangka Satria," buka modifikator dari Jl. Sunan Ampel No. 9, Pabuaran, Purwokerto ini.

Pilihan konsep, memang benar. Secara visual, bentuk Aprilia SXV 450 memiliki kontur yang cakep. Detail menyudut menjadi ciri kuda besi asal Negeri Pizza ini.

Cuma bedanya, Wiwin ubah pola agar bisa menjadi Aprilia ala Purwokerto, rasa mendoan he..he..he.. Mulanya Wiwin permak rangka, agar pengerjaan bodi lebih mudah. Seluruh sasis asli dibuang, didesain rangka deltabox di atas mesin.

Bagian bodi depan khususnya sayap tangki sengaja diperkecil dan lebih pendek dari desain Aprilia. "Sebab kalau terlalu panjang bisa nempel pada tabung knalpot. Makannya sayapnya jadi lebih pendek," cuap modifikator yang lagi demen main MTB ini.

Bodi belakang sama saja, cuma dikecilin biar ngepas dengan bentuk depan yang sudah mantap. Pilihan bentuk dan guratan Aprilia nampak tegas, lekukan landai pada bagian bawah bodi belakang dibuat halus senada desain aslinya. Sehingga bentuk proporsional terlihat nyata sehingga sepatbor belakang.




Untuk frame belakang, Wiwin yang jago konstruksi ini mengubah ulang beberapa titik sudut dasar Satria. Agar sesuai bodi baru. Otomatis postur yang tinggi harus diimbangi tulang yang ideal dan kuat.

"Pakai pipa 22,5 mm sebagai dudukan bodi baru, dari bagian atas as tengan ditarik ke atas agar nungging. Untuk bagian depan bikin konstruksi baru sebagai tempat dudukan jok. Kalau untuk dudukan tangki hanya penyesuaian braket karena tangkinya nempel di deltabox lama," papar builder berbendera Win's Paddock (WP) ini.

Ciri ornamen Aprilia yang paling kentara pada swing arm. Bentuk ini merupakan penyesuaian konsep saja. Dimensi tentu saja lagi-lagi menyesuaikan lebih mini. Bentuknya seperti dua pilar yang menyatu pada bagian ujung as roda belakang.

"Materialnya memakai pelat 4 mm yang dibentuk kotak pada bagian dalamn. Biar lebih rapi didempul agar halus antar guratan sambungan dua pelat tadi," yakin builder gemar membujang ini.

Finishing, Wiwin melengkapi aroma supermoto murni, contohnya setang Renthal lokal dan sepatbor depan variasi motocross. Kelangkapan lalu lintas juga harus komplet, sebab Wiwin punya moto kalau modif motor jangan setengah-setengah.
